Yoo Hae-ran tied for second place in the LPGA Founders Cup 3R… Lee Min-ji leads alone by 3 strokes

 Rookie Yoo Hae-ran tied for second place on the third day of the LPGA Tour Cognitive Founders Cup (total prize money of $3 million).

Yoo Hae-ran hit a 2 under par 70 with 6 birdies and 4 bogeys in the third round of the tournament held at Upper Montclair Country Club (par 72) in Clifton, New Jersey, USA on the 14th (Korean time).

With a median total of 9 under par and 207메이저놀이터 strokes, she is tied for second place with Angel Inn (USA). It is three strokes behind Lee Min-ji (Australia), who is the sole leader.

Yoo Hae-ran swallowed regret by dropping a bogey putt on the 15th hole (par 3), where he was chasing Lee Min-ji by one stroke, and then writing down a bogey on the 17th hole (par 3).

Last year’s winner Lee Min-ji raised her ranking from 3rd the previous day by driving 1 eagle, 4 birdies and 1 bogey.

Kim Se-young, who had lost 4 strokes the previous day and was stagnant, rebounded with 4 birdies and tied for 9th place (6 under par, 210 strokes).

Kim A-rim and Shin Ji-eun tied for 19th place with 4 under par 212 strokes, and Choi Hye-jin lost 2 strokes and tied for 25th place (3 under par 213 strokes).

Anna Lynn is tied for 33rd with a 1-under 215.

In this tournament, Korean players have shown a strong performance recently.

Kim Hyo-joo won in 2015, Kim Se-young in 2016, Park In-bi in 2018, and Ko Jin-young reached the top in 2019 and 2021.
