Korean professional baseball players Na Sung-beom (KIA), Park Se-woong (Lotte), Choi Jae-hoon (Hanwha), and Choi Jeong (SSG) have been transformed into cookies for Cookie Run: Braves. In particular, their cookie cards can only be purchased in their hometowns of Gwangju, Busan, Daejeon, and Incheon. You’ll have to travel around the country to get all of them, making them scarce.
Cookie Run: Braves is the first offline trading card game (TCG) to be released by Korean game company DevSisters on September 1. It aims to lead the popularization of TCGs based on the IP (Intellectual Property) of ‘Cookie Run’, which has accumulated over 200 million users worldwide. It also aims to actively target the $4 trillion global TCG market.스포츠토토
To this end, DevSisters has utilized professional baseball players, arguably the best sport in Korea, in its marketing. At a press conference held at the Haeundae Center Hotel in Haeundae, Busan on the 29th, Lee Chang-heon, the producer (PD) in charge of ‘Cookie Run: Braves,’ said, “We will unveil the cookie cards of Na Sung-beom, Park Se-woong, Choi Jung, and Choi Jae-hoon at the ‘WCG 2023 Busan’ event at BEXCO on the 30th.”
Starting with the cookie cards of these four players, DevSisters plans to expand to players representing 10 clubs. In the future, they plan to expand the number of player cards for each club. In addition, each player’s cookie card will be available only in the region where the player is affiliated with the team, increasing its scarcity. For example, Park Se-woong’s “Cookie Run: Braves” card is only available in Busan.
“The cookie cards of these players, as well as those that will be released in the future, will be sold only in the hometown of the player’s team,” the PD said.

When they met with the players to make the cookie cards, they were all happy to see them. “The four players said in unison, ‘If you buy this card, I will sign it,'” the PD said. “Moreover, Na Sung-bum, who has children, readily accepted the production, saying, ‘If I come out as a cookie, it will be very good to show my children,'” he added.
The cards of the four players – Na Sung-bum, Park Se-woong, Choi Jung, and Choi Jae-hoon – will be available for sale on September 1 alongside the official launch of Cookie Run: Braves.
