The number of canceled games increased to 53 due to the rainy season.

Professional baseball, which was showing a ‘best-of-seven’ game at the end of the first half, is gathering attention to whether it will change the game with the start of the second half.

This week, Lotte-Dusan (Jamsil), Hanwha-Kiwoom (Gochuk), LG-KT (Suwon), SSG-Samsung (Daegu), and KIA-NC (Changwon) will be held during the week (25-27).먹튀검증

The three-game series on the weekend (Aug. 28-30) will feature LG-Dusan (Jamsil), Samsung-Kiwoom (Gochuk), kt-NC (Changwon), Hanwha-SSG (Incheon), and Lotte-KIA (Gwangju).

The biggest question in baseball this week is whether the Doosan Bears can extend their winning streak.

Doosan will face the Lotte Giants, the team that started the streak, to try to extend their franchise-record 11-game winning streak.

Doosan will take on Lotte for the first time on July 25-27.

Doosan won all 10 games it played in July, tying the franchise record with 10 straight wins.

This is the first 10-game winning streak for Doosan in five years and one month since the team won 10 in a row from June 6, 2018, against the Heroes to June 16, 2018, against the Hanwha Eagles under former manager Kim Tae-hyung.

The last time Doosan won 10 games in a row was June 16-27, 2000, under former manager Kim In-sung.

After starting the week with a 10-game winning streak, Doosan had a chance to extend it to 11 in front of their home fans when their games against the Gwangju Kia Tigers on the 22nd and 23rd were canceled due to rain.

Coincidentally, Lotte was the first victim of Doosan’s 10-game winning streak.

Doosan defeated Lotte 2-1 in Ulsan on July 1 and has been unbeaten since.

Doosan and Lotte have battled evenly this season with four wins and four losses.

However, the atmosphere has been different lately.

Lotte was fourth and Doosan was sixth at the start of July, but Doosan went on a 10-game winning streak in July to move up to third, while Lotte went 3-8 in July and dropped to fifth. With sixth-place KT WIZ closing in on Lotte by half a game, Lotte’s fifth-place finish is far from assured.

If Doosan wins the first game of its midweek three-game series against Lotte, manager Lee Seung-yeop will set the record for the longest winning streak by a domestic manager in the KBO.

Lee has already broken the Bears’ record for most consecutive wins as manager (nine), set by Kim Young-duk (1982) and Kim Sung-geun (1984) with the team that was then called OB.

An 11-game winning streak would also surpass the KBO record of 10 consecutive wins by a Korean manager in his first year as an official manager, set by Chun Bosung of the LG Twins in 1997, Lee Hee-soo of the Hanwha Eagles in 1999, and Lee Kwang-eun of the LG in 2000.

No Korean manager has ever won more than 11 games in his first year.

Jerry Royster, the first foreign manager in the Korean Professional Baseball Organization, won 11 games in a row with Lotte in 2008, which is the longest winning streak in the first season of a Korean manager in the KBO League.

The Weekend Jamsil Rivalry, where Doosan and LG meet, is another game that baseball fans will be watching closely.

As of the 24th, LG is leading with 49 wins, 31 losses, and two ties. The gap between Doosan and LG in third place is quite large at 5.5 games.

In the head-to-head series this season, LG has a 5-2 lead over Doosan.

Coach Lee Seung-yeop admitted, “It was really hard until June,” and the “hard memories” included the LG loss.

If Doosan is able to knock off LG in July, the “two-power system of LG and SSG” could crack.
