Jeonju KCC captured No. 1 Anyang KGC in enemy territory.

Jeonju KCC defeated Anyang KGC 92-80 in the 2022-2023 SKT A-Dot professional basketball regular season game held at Anyang Indoor Gymnasium at 7:00 pm on the 15th.

With this, KCC won the victory against the leader KGC and climbed to 7th place with 9 wins and 12 losses. KGC (15 wins, 6 losses) fell into the second consecutive loss of the season by losing another game following the last Korea Gas Corporation.  안전놀이터

In the first half, KGC led 46-44. Thanks to Oh Se-geun and Omari Spellman, KGC took the lead, but KCC followed closely in the second quarter. Heo Woong, La Gun-ah, Lee Seung-hyun and others scored evenly.

In the 3rd quarter, KCC turned the game around. Chung Chang-young made a 51-50 turnaround with a 2-point shot with 7:38 left in the third quarter. KCC continued to assemble an attack with organic movements and good teamwork, ending the third quarter with a 68-64 lead.

KGC did not collapse easily either. With 7 minutes and 59 seconds left in the game, Park Ji-hoon’s 3-point shot passed the rim and tied the score at 69-69.

KCC showed their back in the last minute and widened the score gap again. Following Chung Chang-young’s consecutive goals, Heo Woong scored two consecutive 3-pointers. KCC ran to 81-74 with 4 minutes and 30 seconds left, defending the lead and ending the game with a come-from-behind victory.

Heo Woong scored 22 points, including 4 3-pointers, and Laguna also recorded 21 points and 7 rebounds. Jeong Chang-young and Lee Seung-hyun also contributed by posting 18 points and 5 assists and 13 points and 8 assists, respectively.

In KGC, Oh Se-geun scored 22 points and 10 rebounds, and Spellman scored 16 points, but the team lost.
